who we ARE
Summit is the student ministry of Green Valley Baptist Church. We exist to create environments each week where students 6th-12th grades can gather together, encounter God, and be transformed.
MEET US AT SUMMIT
Every Sunday night from 5:00-7:00pm, our middle and high schoolers meet together in our ministry center (located in our admin building) to hang out, play games, worship together, study the Bible together in large and small groups, and to eat some good food.

Pastor Matt Ehlen is the student pastor of Green Valley Baptist Church. He was born and raised in Vegas, is husband to Madison and father to Jefferson and Eloise, and is an amateur Taco Bell connoisseur. Please feel free to contact Pastor Matt with any questions or inquiries.

BOOK STUDY
FOR PARENTS
Each Sunday morning, Pastor Matt and his wife Madison lead a book study specifically for parents of teens. This is a great venue for parents to connect with other parents, connect with the student pastor, and dive deeper into what the Bible teaches about parenting.
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00AM in room 12.

Each Sunday night at Summit, we serve our students a snack/light meal. We cover the cost of the meal up to $150, but we ask for volunteers to sign-up to prepare and help serve the meal to the students for each week.
